Boy, January has been busy busy around here! We have had 3 different sets of visitors, a host of viral "visitors" finally remedied by amoxicillin and an albuterol nebulizer, a week long "stay-cation" with Luke home (fantastic!), and lots of continued organizing, cleaning and settling!
Elijah is going to be 2 in two days...unbelievable! He is so bright and active, and he is certainly learning to push our boundaries. I keep reminding myself that neglecting to discipline is easy, and correct discipline is hard! He is a great kid, though, and full of life and constantly making us laugh (even when we try not to!). His most recent passion is "popelate" (or, chocolate). He asks for it all day long! Hence, the theme of his bday on Saturday...chocolate! He also loves ice cream and cheetos, and that I blame on Grandma D. :-)
Miles is also doing great...6 months old today! He still isn't rolling that consistently, but he can sit up like a champ! We've begun solid foods, and he seems to be taking to them pretty well. He is weighing in at a whopping 20lbs, and his 9mo size clothes are already getting snug! He's a beast! He still is not sleeping through the night (any suggestions???!!!), but he's pretty darn cute and smiles a lot when he is awake and happy.
Here are a LOT of pics to show you what we've been up to in January!
