Lots of Firsts...

Today Elijah is 1 month old! Unbelievable! We have had many "firsts" during this month and several were worth sharing!

First bath. The first few were only sponge baths, but now we're in the baby tub, and I do think he enjoys it!



First (and second) trip to the Pediatrician. We really like Eli's pediatrician, Dr. Bartlett, and he even gains approval from my old pediatrician (Papa D). Eli weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 20 inches long at birth. On his 2 week appointment, he weighed 8lbs 14oz and measured 22inches long! He's a growing boy!



First birthday party. Our friend, Jeremiah, had a birthday and he and his wife, Dorielle, invited everyone over for homemade pizza! Yum! Elijah did great and let us stay out until after 10pm.





First non-family, non-Hershey visitors! (Ok, that's stretching it a bit, but we thoroughly enjoyed Jen and Manry's visits! In fact, Manry (definitely wins longest friendship award - What? Like 4th grade when our mothers were our Girl Scout leaders?!) flew in from TN to stay a few days, and we are missing her now! After one day in the house she proclaimed that it was time to get Elijah out! So, we did!

First lunch date. We had a great lunch at Hershey Pantry. While we celebrated (hence, the chocolate cake with PB icing - delish!), Eli slept...the ENTIRE time!



First trip to Chocolate World, including first "ride" to learn about how chocolate is made! The first one is a picture of our picture on the ride...we were too cheap to buy it!

Alright, enough with the "firsts". It has been a great month, and we just look forward to each new day with Elijah. Here are two final shots to show just how much he's grown!
